A private car is the easiest way to get from Hanoi to Cao Bang: the driver collects you at your hotel in Hanoi or Noi Bai Airport and takes you straight to your hotel in Cao Bang city, with no bus station and no change of vehicle.

Cao Bang is the base for Ban Gioc Waterfall and the Pac Bo area, a long drive that is far easier with your own car and driver.
